Royal Palm Beach

Nationally recognized as one of the 10 best towns in which to raise a family by Family Circle magazine, the Village of Royal Palm Beach has a minimum of 15 parks throughout it's 11 square miles.  The survey began with 1,850 communities and was published in the August 2008 edition.  Included criteria for the survey was jobs, schools, cost of living as well as recycling and environmentally sensitive or "green" communities.  The village has also been named Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation since 1990.  The entire village limits is designated a bird sanctuary.

Within the 11 square miles are approximately 32,000 residents.

Education
K-12 public education is administered by the School District of Palm Beach County, which is the eleventh largest school district in the country.

The village has 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school.

Sports & Activities
Within the village are 2 golf courses.  One which is public and Madison Green which is semi-private.  Preservation Park includes a 33,000 square foot recreation center with a gymnasium, 7 multi-purpose rooms, weight room, 2 roller hockey rinks, 4 lighted soccer/football fields, 4 outdoor basketball courts and a tot lot.  Challenger Park is known for it's annual 4th of July fireworks display.
